On Wednesday November 6, 2024, 4-H leaders, members and alumni from across the country will don their favourite 4-H colours and come together, online and in person, to celebrate the 4-H movement in Canada for Show Your 4-H Colours Day! With celebrations happening from coast to coast, communities are turning the landmarks green in support of the impacts 4-H has had on Canadian youth and their communities.

Every November, this campaign encourages 4-H members, volunteers, alumni, and supporters to wear their 4-H green and come together to spread awareness of 4-H and support the positive impacts the 4-H program is making in Canada and abroad. This celebration highlights the incredible things 4-H youth are doing in their communities and how the 4-H program is creating responsible, caring, and contributing young leaders.

Show Your 4-H Colours is the annual celebration of 4-H across Canada, and is celebrated every year on the first Wednesday of November.

About 4-H in Canada
For 111 years, 4-H Canada has been one of the most respected positive youth development organizations in Canada. 4-H Canada has 19,057 members and over 7,000 volunteer leaders participating in more than 51,500 projects. Our goal is to help young Canadians “Learn To Do By Doing” in a safe, inclusive and fun environment. We believe in nurturing responsible, caring and contributing youth leaders who are committed to positively impacting their communities across Canada and around the world.

Within 4-H Ontario, we are fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers, members, and supporters in the Kawartha Lakes area. We are excited to provide a local landmark for those in this region to celebrate 4-H close to home, fostering even stronger community connections.
