Event Details:

Join volunteers from Bird Friendly Kawartha Lakes for a walk along the Kawartha Trans Canada Trail. Discover how to spot and identify birds while learning about local and migratory species.

Participants will have the option of a one-hour walk or adding a more strenuous hike to climb the drumlin behind Scott Young P.S.

Bird Walk will happen rain or shine. Dress for the weather and, if taking the longer walk, for off-trail conditions. Bring sunscreen, water, and binoculars if you have them.
