We Canadians are currently undergoing a lot of international tension, and it's never been more important for us to retain and celebrate our culture of perseverence and love. That's why BGC Kawarthas Foundation (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation) is putting together a special concert at the Flato Academy Theatre to bring the community together celebrating Canadian music.

It will be Sunday, May 25th at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Flato Academy Theatre's website. Proceeds go towards the BGC Kawarthas music programs, where children and youth get to learn and create various forms of music.

The lineup includes: The Strumbellas, Tyler Kyte and Nick Rose (members of Dwayne Gretzky), Russell deCarle of Prairie Oyster, Melissa Payne, Cassie Noble, and more!
